We’ve been doing a lot of Kerama drift dives targeting manta rays lately, but…
Today, we decided to mix things up a bit and headed to “Triangle,” a popular drift dive site in southern Okinawa Main Island!
Air Temp: 31°C, Water Temp: 28°C, Visibility: 25 m
Schools of chevron barracuda and barracuda-like snapper, along with dogtooth tuna charging right into them.
We were also treated to large-scale schools of false surgeonfish and false bluefin trevally, stretching from deep to shallow waters.
From big fish to schools—it’s the dynamic underwater world unique to Triangle!
This is definitely a lot of fun in its own right!
And now, a typhoon that has finally reached Category 30 is once again approaching Okinawa.
It’s still hard to tell, but it looks like we’ll be able to enjoy diving until tomorrow.
So, I’m heading to Manza tomorrow.
