  • Deep Diving Considerations

    USS Emmons rests at approximately 40 meters, making it one of Okinawa's deepest recreational dive sites.
    Nitrox is not used for this tour due to the depth, and all dives are conducted on air.
    Bottom time is limited, so good buoyancy control, appropriate air consumption, and comfort with deep diving are essential.

  • Air Only – No Nitrox

    Because of the depth, careful dive planning is essential.
    Dive plans may be modified depending on sea conditions, and all divers must follow the guide's instructions throughout the dive.

  • Respect the Wreck

    USS Emmons is both a historic shipwreck and a war memorial.
    Penetration diving is not permitted, and we ask all divers to explore the site with respect.
