Since it’s Manta Awareness Month, today’s Kerama drift dive will also focus on the Manta Shift dive sites.

However, as the name “Awareness Month” suggests, we’ve actually had a pretty good success rate so far.

Let’s head out for the drift dive with high hopes!

In the end, although there were reports of sightings… it was a bummer.

That said, it was so calm—with virtually no current—that it felt almost unusual.

Even so, visibility was excellent, and the fish were plentiful.

It wasn’t bad at all.

All that’s left is to wait for the star of the show to make an appearance, so we’re heading back to the Kerama Drift tomorrow.
