We’re finally in the thick of fall, and the three-day weekend in October has begun!
On the first day, we split up and headed to Manza with the Kerama Drift Team!
First up: Kerama Drift!
Air Temp: 30°C, Water Temp: 28°C, Visibility: 20–30 m
①② Shimo-Sone, ③ Uchizan Reef
Shimosone has been on fire lately, with a black giant manta ray spotted there for two days straight up until yesterday.
Since the conditions were perfect, we naturally gave it a shot right from our first dive.
The result...
Isn’t it a bit crazy to keep getting a hand like a royal straight flush?
So, we called it quits after two dives.
For our third dive, we played it safe at Uchizan Reef, where the whole group observed a southern manta ray getting cleaned
Being able to watch them peacefully together as a group—that’s the best!
Thank you, God of the Sea!
Meanwhile, the Manza team:
Air temp: 30°C, Water temp: 28°C, Visibility: 15 m
① Nakayukui, ② Mini Dream Hole, ③ Dream Hole
Here, we enjoyed a dive rich in variety—featuring interesting terrain, small marine life, sharks, and turtles!
Tomorrow, we’re heading out on an expedition to Tonaki! And we’re also going on a Kerama Islands introductory dive!
