I went on my first dive since Typhoon No. 18 passed through.
Since the typhoon passed a little further north this time, we got off relatively lightly here.
So, with high hopes that the ocean would recover quickly, I headed to Kerama Old Drift!
Air temperature: 32°C, Water temperature: 27–28°C, Visibility: 20 m
① North Kuroshima, ② Uchizan Reef, ③ Tatchu
The wind is still strong and there’s still some swell, so conditions on the surface are rough.
Underwater, however, neither the water temperature nor the visibility had dropped that much, which was a relief.
I was also a bit concerned about the unprecedented manta ray festival that had been held before the typhoon.
Unfortunately, our schedule didn’t work out today.
Still, we had three dives with plenty of fish.
