It’s a shame, especially since the ocean conditions have been so good lately…
Typhoon No. 18, a very strong typhoon, is approaching the Okinawa region and may have a significant impact on the main island of Okinawa.
With the safety of our customers and staff as our top priority, Okinawa Diving Service “Sensuya” will be temporarily closed during the following period.
[Closure Period]
August 25 (Tue) – August 27 (Thu)
During this period, diving tours will be canceled, and the shop will be closed.
Operations and diving tours starting August 28 (Fri) and beyond may be subject to change depending on the typhoon’s path and speed, sea conditions after the typhoon passes, and the status of the harbor and boats.
We will post updates on our website as soon as our schedule is finalized. Additionally, we will contact customers with existing reservations individually.
Since the typhoon’s path and intensity may change, please check the latest forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency and the U.S. Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC).
We ask everyone currently staying in Okinawa to prioritize their safety above all else.
