The Kerama Islands are buzzing with excitement over the recent string of manta sightings!
I went out again today!
Air temp: 32°C, Water temp: 27–28°C, Visibility: 25–30 m
① Paraiso, ② North Kuroshima, ③ West Kuroshima
At Paraiso, there were plenty of whitetip sharks.
And a small school of giant trevally was darting back and forth
At Kuroshima North, grouper were swarming like a wall, and giant trevally were circling around.
But the manta rays had an overwhelming presence that overshadowed all those memories.
The manta ray festival was in full swing again today.
We encountered them both while diving and snorkeling!
If things keep going like this, this dive site is going to be something else...
