OWCourse and DiscoverScubaDiving Day!! Kerama and Chibishi Islands

I’ve started noticing those fleeting moments when I think, “It’s actually kind of cool out here…”

Wait, wait—hold on a second. Isn’t summer passing by a little too quickly?

I don’t want it to be one of those summers where the red dragonflies start flying around and then—just like that—it’s over.

I still want to enjoy summer to the fullest!

So today, I headed out with a couple doing their first-ever try-dive and a group on their second day of Open Water training!

First up was the try-dive at Kamiyama Island in the Chibishi Islands.

Air temp: 31°C, Water temp: 27–28°C, Visibility: 25 m

On the first dive, we enjoyed the shallow coral reefs, sawtooth snapper, and schools of red damselfish.

Since they’d gotten pretty used to it, on the second dive we ventured a bit further out to the green sea turtle nesting grounds.

They looked so comfortable sleeping that I snapped a quick photo without disturbing them.

Both of you performed perfectly, so we look forward to seeing you at your certification course next time!

Meanwhile, the second day of the Open Water course took place in Kerama!

Air Temp: 31°C, Water Temp: 27–28°C, Visibility: 20–25 m

They also mastered their skills here, said hello to the green sea turtles, and were successfully certified!

Since you live in Okinawa, let’s be sure to get out in the ocean whenever the conditions look good!

We look forward to seeing you!

Tomorrow, we’ll be splitting up again—some starting their Open Water courses, and others heading out for fun dives in Kerama!
