Hello, everyone.
It has been decades since I first entered this industry.
For me, the Obon holiday isn't about returning home or visiting family graves—it’s a time for diving.
To my ancestors: I will eventually come back to pay my respects, so please watch over me in the meantime! (Haha)
Now, today’s lineup features Kerama drift diving and Kerama fun diving.
First up: Kerama drift diving.
Air temp: 32°C | Water temp: 27–28°C | Visibility: 20–25m
① Kuroshima North ② Kuroshima West ③ Uchizan Reef
The big trend lately is, of course, the majestic manta ray.
They’ve been sticking around for quite a while.
However, a bad habit humans have is getting too used to things.
Think back to the underwater world you saw for the first time—the colorful fish, the clownfish, the sea turtles.
Do you remember that initial sense of wonder?
Let’s make sure we always appreciate the view.
Next: Kerama fun diving.
Air temp: 32°C | Water temp: 27–28°C | Visibility: 15–25m
① Kuroshima Northwest ② Kamekichi ③ Kuroshima North
Thanks for today!
Gratitude for everything the ocean offers!
Tomorrow, we’re heading out on an expedition to Tonaki.
