July 26, 2015 – The calm seas have returned, but... – Kerama

Hello everyone,

The typhoon has passed, and peaceful days have returned.

Typhoon No. 11, which formed quietly, has safely moved on, so it looks like we’ll have some calm days ahead.

Today, we went for fun dives in the Kerama Islands.

Air temperature: 30°C | Water temperature: 26°C | Visibility: 15m+

① Kuroshima North ② Nanaban-misaki ③ Ogan

Visibility isn't great due to the typhoon's lingering effects... though it does feel like it's starting to improve a bit at Kuroshima North.

When visibility is like this, it's a great time to look for small critters!

With video becoming the mainstream trend these days, we don't seem to spot things like nudibranchs as often...

I really hope the visibility recovers soon so we can fully enjoy that famous "Kerama Blue" water!

We'll be back in the Keramas for fun dives tomorrow, too.
