In June, the hottest spot is Aguni Island.
While it does require intermediate to advanced diving skills—due to occasional strong currents and the need for powerful fin kicks—if you’re up for the challenge, please feel free to request this dive.
There are still some available dates on weekdays!
However, the chance to see the giant trevally tornado is limited to around mid-July!
So, we headed out on another Aguni expedition today!
Air Temperature: 28°C, Water Temperature: 24–25°C, Visibility: 15–25 m
①–③: Fuden-zaki
Given yesterday’s struggles, I was hoping to hit the jackpot right from the first dive…
And sure enough, we spotted the giant trevally!
With that under our belt, we felt more at ease, and our hopes soared for even bigger catches on the second and third dives.
But I guess I shouldn’t be too greedy.
With just one month left until mid-July, I’m so grateful to be able to dive in these amazing waters!
