This is a diving tour to explore a destroyer discovered in August 2000.
It was identified as the USS Emmons (90 meters in length), a U.S. Navy destroyer that sank in 1945.
It is said that during World War II, the destroyer suffered severe damage from a kamikaze attack by a Zero fighter and was subsequently sunk by U.S. forces to prevent its weapons from falling into Japanese hands.
However, while it was in nearly pristine condition when first discovered, it is true that its condition has been deteriorating year by year.
Let’s go see it now, while it still retains its original form!! It’s definitely worth seeing!!
